Everyday Math First Grade
The publishing company has let us use the sample materials linked on these pages. In order to post them quickly, hard copies of the materials had to be scanned in to use on the web, so the visual appeal and quality is not optimal. You will get a better feel for the material quality at any of the materials review opportunities.
STUDENT MATERIALS
- Student Reference Book The hardcover book that serves as a reference in class and at home. It is called My Reference Book in grades one and two, and Student Reference Book in grades three through five.
- Student Journal The workbook that students use everyday. A lesson typically spans two to four pages. In the homework section labeled Math Boxes, students practice previous skills and get ready for upcoming concepts. When a picture of a small book with page numbers in it appears, that tells students where they can look up the concept in the Student Reference Book.
Math Masters are worksheet pages that provide extra practice and information for families.
Skills Links are computational skills practice workbooks to aid in developing computational proficiency.
- Links to Online Games will take students to some of the online games for Everyday Math that offer opportunities to practice concepts and skills and support student learning.
