Night Academy

What is it?

Night Academy is a program offered twice each year (Fall and Spring) that gives students opportunities to retrieve high school credit for classes they have failed during the school year.

Who attends?

We encourage any high school student who needs to retrieve credit to ensure on-time graduation from high school to attend.

What are the benefits?

  • Students are able to retrieve credit lost during the regular school year.
  • Students who pass Night Academy classes put themselves in a better position to graduate with their class.
  • Night Academy classes help students meet Issaquah School District standards.

Where is it held?

Classes are held on the Tiger Mountain Community High School campus.

What are the attendance requirements?

Consistent attendance is mandatory! Students are allowed only one absence per course.

What is the grading system?

Night Academy uses a pass/fail grading system. Each successfully completed course (14- two-hour classes) provides .5 credit retrieval.

Credit is awarded pending successful completion of all course work and no more than one absence per course.

How do I enroll in Night Academy?

Students or their parents/guardians may call Amy Wiggins, Tiger Mountain Community High School Secretary/Registrar, (425) 837.6210 or Tiger Mountain Community High School Principal Ed Marcoe, (425) 837.6211.

How much does it cost?

$200 per 14-class course.
