High School Summer School
There are three options for high school summer school:
- LIVE summer school courses (credit recovery, PE, art, etc.)
- ISD Online Health (Registration is closed; class is full)
- Online Learning (Registration is closed)
Registration will be open from February 25 at 7:00 a.m. to June 24 at 11:59 p.m.
Note: If you are an out of district student, you will need to complete the forms below and email them to Cindy Barnhart at BarnhartC@issaquah.wednet.edu in order to be enrolled and complete registration for summer school.
Middle School Summer School
Registration is now open for STEM Camp, Humanities Camp, and Algebra 1 Skills Courses
Middle school summer STEM and Humanities Camps are skill-based camps that focus on building skills from the current school year and into the next. They are intended to be hands-on, highly engaging lessons that emphasize the most important skills to be successful in Science/Math or English/Social Studies. Algebra 1 Skills Course is a skills-based class held this summer to provide instruction related to Algebra skills that are skipped in the CC8 Geometry pathway. For more information, click here.

Elementary Summer School
Registration for 2015 is now closed. All classes are full.
Elementary Summer School is offered to current kindergarten through fifth graders only. The summer school program provides for both reinforcement of learned skills and remedial assistance for students who need a little extra academic support. All elementary summer school classes are dependent upon staffing.
Classes are held on weekdays from July 6 through July 31, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition is $385 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website.
Summer Video Editing Class is offered to current fourth and fifth graders only. This course teaches the fundamentals of video production and editing. Students learn how to use still pictures as well as video to make a movie, how to record to a camera correctly, and transfer the video onto a computer. As a final project, students produce a DVD. Summer Video Editing Class runs weekdays from July 13 to July 24, 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition for this two-week program is $250 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website. A minimum of 12 students is required for this class to proceed.
Summer Robotics Class -Returning this summer is a two week Robotics Class for current fourth and fifth graders only. This course teaches the fundamentals of robotics using LEGO Mindstorm Kits. Summer Robotics Class are available in two sessions and run weekdays from July 6 to July 17 (session 1) and July 20 to July 31 (session 2), 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition for this two-week program is $250 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website. A minimum of 12 students is required for this class to proceed.
