High School Summer School 2016

There are three options for high school summer school:

Registration for 2016 will be open from February 24 at 7:00 a.m. to June 21 at 11:59 p.m.

Out of District Students: If you are an out of District student, you will need to complete the forms below and email them to Lora Jackman at in order to be enrolled and complete registration for summer school.

Middle School Summer School 2016

Registration for 2016 summer school will open on April 1, 2016.

Registration will be available for STEM Camp and Humanities Camp

Middle school summer STEM and Humanities Camps are skill-based camps that focus on building skills from the current school year and into the next. They are intended to be hands-on, highly engaging lessons that emphasize the most important skills to be successful in Science/Math or English/Social Studies.

Elementary Summer School

Elementary summer school is now full. Students may apply to be wait listed on a first-come first-serve basis. 

Elementary Summer School is offered to current kindergarten through fifth grade. The summer school program provides for both reinforcement of learned skills and remedial assistance for students who need a little extra academic support. All elementary summer school classes are dependent upon staffing.

Classes are held on weekdays from July 11 through August 5, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition is $400 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website.

    Summer Robotics Class

    Robotics sessions are now full.

    Returning this summer is a two week Robotics Class for current fourth and fifth grade students. This course teaches the fundamentals of robotics using LEGO Mindstorm Kits. Summer Robotics Class are available in two sessions and run weekdays from July 11 to July 22 (session 1) and July 25 to August 5 (session 2), 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition for this two-week program is $250 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website. A minimum of 12 students is required for this class to proceed.
