Summer School and Enrichment Courses

High School Summer School 2016

Registration for 2016 summer school will open on February 24, 2016.

There are three options for high school summer school:

  • LIVE summer school courses (credit recovery, PE, art, etc.)
  • ISD Online Health (Registration is closed; class is full)
  • Online Learning (Registration is closed)

Registration for 2016 will be open from February 24 at 7:00 a.m. to June 24 at 11:59 p.m.

Note: If you are an out of district student, you will need to complete the forms below and email them to Lakshmi Palaniappan at palaniappanl@issaquah.wednet.edu in order to be enrolled and complete registration for summer school. 


Middle School Summer School 2016

Registration for 2016 summer school will open on April 1, 2016.

Registration will be available for STEM Camp and Humanities Camp

Middle school summer STEM and Humanities Camps are skill-based camps that focus on building skills from the current school year and into the next. They are intended to be hands-on, highly engaging lessons that emphasize the most important skills to be successful in Science/Math or English/Social Studies. Elementary Summer School

Registration for 2016 will open on March 1, 2016.

Elementary Summer School is offered to current kindergarten through fifth grade. The summer school program provides for both reinforcement of learned skills and remedial assistance for students who need a little extra academic support. All elementary summer school classes are dependent upon staffing.

Classes are held on weekdays from July 11 through August 5, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition is $400 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website.

Summer Robotics Class - Returning this summer is a two week Robotics Class for current fourth and fifth grade students. This course teaches the fundamentals of robotics using LEGO Mindstorm Kits. Summer Robotics Class are available in two sessions and run weekdays from July 11 to July 22 (session 1) and July 25 to August 5 (session 2), 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Tuition for this two-week program is $250 and applications are available in your school office or on the District website. A minimum of 12 students is required for this class to proceed.

Scholarships

Scholarships may be available for any of the summer school programs.

District transportation to summer programs is not available.
