School Board Overview
The local school board is a uniquely American institution that has made public schools flexible and responsive to the needs of local communities. It represents a continuing commitment to local citizen control and decision-making in education.
The Issaquah School Board generally meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month with a few exceptions. The "fourth Wednesday" meetings include a "community linkage" element, but the board will also take care of general business.
School Board Correspondence
Only one copy of correspondence addressed to the Board of Directors is necessary. Board members will each receive copies.
