Serving students with Career and Technical Education and counseling-related student services
Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the skills and technology necessary for 21st-century careers through academic courses, workplace knowledge, and hands-on training. Examples of career courses include marketing, engineering, graphic and video arts, American Sign Language, culinary, sports medicine, business, construction/woods, and material science classes. Students are also served in
high school career centers by specialists who help students with post-secondary education and career planning.
Counseling Services include guidance counseling, homeless education assistance, Section 504 accommodations, and drug and alcohol prevention programs.
Our school counselors ensure equity and access to programs and services so that all students are challenged and supported to achieve their highest potential. Our ultimate goal is to help students obtain the knowledge, skills and attitudes that lead to academic, career, and personal success.
