WASL August retakes; Register by calling the District by July 28
WHEN The 10th grade WASL will be given again between August 7-10 at Issaquah High School,700 2nd Avenue, Issaquah. See test schedule below.
WHO All students in the class of 2008 who did not meet standard on the 10th grade WASL are encouraged to sign up for the August WASL retake.
Students can take the exam for the first time, make up any exams missed during the spring testing, or retake any of the WASL subjects they did not pass.
July 18, 2006STUDENTS MAY STILL BE ABLE TO REGISTER BY JULY 28 Students in the class of 2008 who did not pre-register with OSPI, but wish to re-take WASL tests in reading, writing or mathematics, may still be able to register for the tests by calling the District Assessment Office at 425-837-7007 by July 28. Due to very limited space and materials, students will be registered on a first come, first served basis.
Re-takes are recommended for students who were absent during the spring testing or for students who did not meet standard on one or more tests. Students who took off-level tests or alternative assessments will have re-take opportunities in November.
Students are asked to bring picture identification, pre-registration confirmations and a sack lunch if desired. Testing locations will be posted at Issaquah High School on the day of testing and students are requested to arrive by 8:00 AM. Students will be required to leave all cell phones, backpacks and purses at the front of the testing location during the testing sessions. Students must attend both sessions of each test in order to receive a score.
