Phased construction schedule (updated June 2011): The Liberty design team began its work by outlining a campus master plan, which was built on the question: What is the optimal placement of facilities for long-term use? The result was a two-phased construction schedule. The first phase encompasses 2006 bond projects and a new and expanded performing arts center. Phase two builds on the initial work by reorienting the campus around a new commons area with reconfiguration of the office and counseling areas, addition of an auxiliary gym, and modernizing/daylighting classroom wings. Phase-two work is dependent on a future bond, which could go before voters in February 2012 at the earliest.
