The department provides general support for elementary and middle school programs. This includes supervising elementary schools, including full day kindergarten, early entrance, 5th grade orchestra, magnet programs, summer school, and district school age care, and middle schools and their programs, including Humanities Plus.
The Department of Elementary and Middle Education is available to help with elementary and middle school policies and procedures, to provide guidance for parents and to assist with questions about Issaquah's elementary and middle schools.
