Department of High School Education
The Department of High School Education provides supervision of high schools and general support for high school programs. This includes Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate , state attendance compliance, student discipline consultation and discipline records, curriculum implementation, credit retrieval programs (secondary summer school, Night Academy, GED), foreign exchange students, High School Graduation Requirements, Running Start, Athletic programs (08-09 Student Athletic Handbook-available this summer) and WIAA compliance.The Department of High School Education is available to help with high school policies and procedures, to provide guidance for parents, and to assist with questions about Issaquah's high school programs.
