Organize all website content into groups based on feedback from the web focus groups.

Create web applications
Create web applications for managing and displaying database-driven content, including
news releases and other external communications, directories, lists, or content
that is easier to manage programmatically. It is important that these
applications be flexible, allowing for future needs, including potential incorporation into
future school websites.

Wireframing
Create basic visual guides for the layout and placement of all design elements and
content for the homepage and content pages.

Create pages design and templates
A new page template and look will be developed for the website to incorporate content
from new web applications, facilitate better navigation throughout the website,
and express the culture of our community and district.

Migrate static content
The present district website contains hundreds of pages of content that must be
reviewed, updated, and migrated to the new page template, requiring input from several
administrative departments and schools.

Migrate database content
All existing news releases, points of pride, and other content stored in disparate
databases will be migrated to the new web application databases.

Testing
Testing will ensure that the new website meets the needs of our community and that
all web applications function as expected. At this stage, the website will be available
to the public for feedback.

Release
The current website will be archived and the district website URL will be redirected
to the new website.
