Subject: School on Tuesday is at least two-hours delayed with snow routes

Monday, Jan. 15: Weather update

Issaquah schools will begin at least two hours late tomorrow morning and buses will operate on snow routes. Transportation supervisors chained a bus and drove throughout the District this afternoon. In multiple locations, including many school parking lots and neighborhood roads, the bus came close to sliding off the pavement or could not proceed at all. Because forecasters predict more snow will fall tonight and tomorrow morning, please check for school updates after 5 a.m. at the District’s homepage or schoolreport.org and on local television and radio stations.

Because schools will begin late, all morning activities—including School Age Care—are cancelled. Check the District’s Emergency Transportation Bulletin to determine how “snow routes” will alter transportation in your neighborhood.

Thank you.
