Subject: Schools one-hour late and buses on snow routes tomorrow

Issaquah schools will begin at least one hour late and buses will operate on snow routes tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17. Many roads are clear this afternoon, but temperatures will drop tonight. In case road conditions worsen, check for updates after 5 a.m. tomorrow at the District's homepage or schoolreport.org and on local television and radio stations.

Please check your Emergency Transportation Bulletin for more information about snow routes. The one-hour delay means all before-school activities, including School Age Care, are cancelled. Also, morning and afternoon kindergarten classes and Headstart are cancelled (full day K is not cancelled). Remember, the delay tomorrow means all schools will start one hour later than their usual Wednesday start times. Afternoon dismissal times will not change from their usual Wednesday times. All schools will serve lunch. After-school activities are not cancelled.

The School Board meeting scheduled for last Wednesday will be held tomorrow at 7 p.m. The Board will appoint a new member to fill its vacant seat and provide an update on the superintendent search.

If you haven't already done so, please take time to provide feedback about your preferences for making up missed school days this year and for forming school calendars in the future.

Thank you.
