·        We expect all schools to start on time with full bus transportation tomorrow morning. If any unforeseen snow flurries occur overnight, check for updates on the District’s homepage, schoolreport.org, or local television and radio stations tomorrow after 5 a.m.

·        The School Board last night unanimously appointed PTSA leader and education advocate Suzanne Weaver to fill its vacant seat. Board members were impressed with Weaver’s collaborative leadership style, background in financial management, and years of involvement in the Issaquah School District.

You can listen to a podcast of the entire Board meeting online.

·        You still have time to provide your feedback about how we should make up missed school days and form school calendars in the future. The online survey closes at 9 p.m. tonight. So far, we have received more than 8,500 responses.

·        From A (Academic development needs) to T (Technology), we have recently posted new resources to help children and teens through their growing pains. The new online articles cover topics as diverse as eating disorders, stress management, school success, bullying, and depression.
