Aiming
High on its way to schools in
February… This annual publication by the Office of the
Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is designed to help parents
understand state learning standards and their connection to WASL. OSPI is
sending enough copies for schools to share with families of every student
scheduled to take WASL this year. You can download Aiming High
from the web or wait until your student brings one home.
Spanish versions will be available on line when those are completed by
OSPI.

Did you know that the Issaquah Schools
Foundation publishes the annual school art calendar? The
full-color showcase of student art and events was cut from the district budget
three years ago. The Foundation stepped forward to save this most visible
demonstration of K-12 art. The calendar ad space generates funds for the
Foundation – making it possible to award more grants for school programs. It’s a beautiful
relationship!
