Good morning,
All Issaquah schools will begin one hour late today, and buses will operate on regular routes. We apologize for the later-than-usual notice, but icy/snowy conditions have not changed in the higher altitudes and in the south-end of the District, as anticipated. This is the best decision for student safety.
The one-hour delay applies to schools' shortened Wednesday schedule: middle and high schools will begin at about 11 a.m., and elementary schools will begin between 9:15 and 10 a.m., depending on your school's exact Wednesday start time. Afternoon dismissal times will not change. All schools WILL serve lunch
A one-hour late start means these programs are cancelled: Before-school activities and morning School Age Care.
All other programs are not cancelled.
Thank you.
