·        In an effort to enhance safety and awareness, the Issaquah Police Department has issued a bulletin to inform community members that a sexual offender has moved into the downtown Issaquah area.

 

·        Please read the important online information from the Department of Health about meningococcal meningitis for students in sixth through 12^th grade and the human papilloma virus for girls in sixth through 12^th grade. Vaccines are available for both of these diseases that can significantly protect your child.

A Klahanie resident saw a bear in the neighborhood’s green belt today and another bear was spotted near Briarwood Elementary School last week. Please remind your students about animal safety (including walking to school in groups) and manage your home habits to reduce wildlife encounters.
