- Last Thursday’s
Issaquah Schools
Foundation (ISF) luncheon was the most successful ever.
900 people attended and generously donated $215,000 to the Foundation. That’s
up from 700 attendees last year and $165,000 in donations last year. The
excitement and enthusiasm for schools was energizing! Watch for news
from the Foundation of how they plan to put that money to work directly
supporting students throughout the District, and thank
you!
- The Issaquah School
Board holds monthly “linkage” meetings on topics of importance for district
students, families, and patrons and invites those who attend to join the topic
discussions. This month’s topic is Support for students to earn the
State’s Certificate of Academic Achievement and is likely to be
of interest to middle and high school students and families. Discussion
begins at 7 pm in the board room of the Administration
Service Center this Wednesday, October 26.
The board’s discussion will
complement Getting to
Graduation meetings scheduled this week and next at Pacific
Cascade Freshman Campus and each of the three comprehensive high schools.
- Middle School Science
Nights: Open to middle school parents and students!
Come learn about the newly adopted middle school science program and have a
fun evening interacting with science materials soon to be in 6th,
7th, and 8th grade classrooms.
