• Graduation update: Despite missing three days of school due to snow in November, the District is committed to keeping graduation dates and times the same for Issaquah, Skyline, and Liberty high schools. Seniors need to complete 175 school days before graduation, and we are pursuing a waiver from the state to meet that requirement. We are also looking at creative ways to make up the missed days as a back-up plan.  Graduation dates/times are:

 

• Liberty: 2 p.m. Monday, June 18.
• Skyline: 5 p.m. Monday, June 18.
• Issaquah High: 8 p.m. Monday, June 18.

 

Tiger Mountain Community High School has decided to move its graduation ceremony from Tuesday, June 19, to Thursday, June 21.

 

• The Issaquah School Board meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the administration building. Administrators will present post-graduation data. The Board will discuss its process to appoint a new member and legislative priorities, including a bill that would raise every district’s levy lid to 35-percent of its operations budget.
