· Important update: Next week’s boundary review committee meeting on Wednesday, March 19, has been moved to the Administration Building. Also, the meeting begins at 6 p.m. (not 6:30 p.m., the incorrect time posted in a previous E-News this week).
· Did you know? Even if you stayed home on Wednesday to catch “American Idol,” you can still hear the entire School Board meeting. Board members discussed high school construction, legislative issues, and math this week.
· Susie Cohen is a former Bloomingdales buyer from New York City who now considers mentoring an Issaquah student one of the most important things she does. More information about Susie and the District’s mentor program is in this quarter’s VOICE newsletter.
· Doesn’t your car deserve a spring cleaning, too? The students in the Science Technology program at Clark Elementary have been learning about the environment and preservation, and they have developed a hands-on—or, rather, sponges-on—project to turn their lessons to action. They will host an eco-friendly car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, March 15, at Front Street Market, 80 Front St. S., Issaquah. All donations will benefit the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery in its effort to build a wetland.
