Issaquah School District E-News

Superintendent Barry announced this week:

The District’s Executive Director of Special Services for next year will be Marilyn Holm who now holds that position with the Auburn School District. Holm replaces Diana Waterstrat who is retiring after 7 years. Holm’s experience includes Special Education leadership and teaching in Auburn and Kent, and she has a Masters Degree from University of Washington. www.issaquah.wednet.edu/district/news/release.asp?id=161

Pacific Cascade Freshman Campus principal next year will be Dana Bailey who is now assistant principal at Pine Lake Middle School. Bailey replaces Mike Gallagher, PCFC planning principal, who next year will be Executive Director of High Schools. Committee progress:

The Bond and Levy Scope Committee held its first meeting before February break to begin plans for next year’s bond and levy elections. All subsequent meetings are on Thursdays between now and May 18.
