- Participate in
the elementary math curriculum adoption process: After intensely reviewing many
options, a committee of Issaquah teachers recommended that Everyday Math move
forward for in-depth study. Parents are invited to see examples of lessons,
review parent resource materials, learn about the process, share feedback, and
ask questions in small group settings with teachers at 7 p.m. this Wednesday,
April 4, at Issaquah Middle
School.
Parents can also come to three open house events at the administration building to see the materials and ask
questions: 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 17; 1-4 p.m. Friday, April 20; and 9-11
a.m. Monday, April 23. A tour of the Everyday Math materials, frequently asked
questions, and the process timeline are also available on the elementary math adoption
website.
E-mail elementarymath@issaquah.wednet.edu for more
