As previously planned, the June 29
school board meeting will include their discussions of bond and levy
recommendations made by the Bond and Levy Scope
Committee. The meeting begins at 7 pm in the District
Administrative Center,
Just-released
information about additional housing potential on the Sammamish Plateau and
the impact that could have on student enrollment may factor into the board’s
discussion Wednesday night.
The new growth potential has already
impacted the work of the District’s
Boundary Advisory Committee. That group was originally tasked in March
to make boundary adjustments based upon data available at that time. Their
new
task and their work timeline have been extended to include complete
evaluation of the new housing information and construction plans established by
the school board.
