BOUNDARY
NEWS: At their September 26
meeting, the committee evaluated four
options for easing overcrowding in plateau area schools. Options 2, 3, and
4 are linked to maps clarifying proposed boundaries. These boundary changes are
an interim solution until a new elementary #15 and middle school #5 can be
built on the plateau. Funding for E-15 and MS -5 is included in the proposed
ballot issues voters will face in February 2006.
The committee's report from September 26 has been forwarded to Superintendent
Barry who will make her recommendations to the Board on October 12. Her report
will be published on the website after October 5.
