Community Fliers for Cascade Ridge
Join the Issaquah Career and Technical Education Advisory Board!

The Issaquah School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) department is recruiting Issaquah community members to serve on their advisory committees. Advisory committees advise, assist, and provide support and advocacy for quality CTE programs. Through the advisory committees, volunteers have the opportunity to learn more about the Issaquah School District CTE programs and the instructors are able to increase their understanding of the job market, employers' needs, and community opportunities. The Issaquah School District is looking for volunteers for the following committees: Arts & Communications, Culinary Arts, ASL, Health and Human Services, Business and Marketing, STEM, Computer Science, and TV/Video Production. Meetings are September 30, January 13, and May 12 from 5:00-7:00PM at the Administrative Building, 565 NW Holly St., Issaquah, WA. Voice Mentor Program: Helping Students Find Their VOICE
VOICE is an in-school volunteer mentoring program helping students in ALL Issaquah schools. VOICE is powered by caring community volunteers who donate one hour a week to mentor students in a one-to-one school setting. Placements are made based on the mentors’ interests, location preference and time availability. For further information contact: VOICEMentorProgram.org. VOICE is funded by the Issaquah Schools Foundation in cooperation with the Issaquah School District.
White Tiger Martial Arts Classes (3 – adult)

The Fleming School of Music for Students Pre-K to Grade 12

A comprehensive music program that emphasizes the study of piano and guitar.  

Kick It Indoors YMCA Youth Sports Indoor Soccer League

2014 Fall session registering now! The league is designed for grade K-6 to have fun while learning sportsmanship, healthy baits, as well as soccer rules and skills. Evergreen Bilingual Institute After School Care

After school care Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We offer small class sizes and individual attention. We make sure kids complete their homework before going home and provide extracurricular courses at no extra charge. After school pick up service is also provided. Elementary Art Workshops
New Saturday ART WORKSHOPS for kids, ages 6-10, through Smart with Art and Issaquah Parks & Recreation. Classes include: Cartooning on September 20th, Fashion Design on October 11th, Halloween Painting on October 18th, Fall Watercolor on November 15th, and Holiday Gift of Art on December 6th. All classes are from 10:00am-12:00noon at the Issaquah Community Center; Each workshop is $37; All supplies are included. Register today!
Teen Art Club

 Teen Art Club is at the Issaquah Community Center! This club is completely free of charge thanks to the Issaquah Arts Commission and is available Tuesdays, October 7th – December 2nd from 3:00-4:30pm. Register today!
