In October 2004, Issaquah 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th graders took the State's Healthy Youth Survey — the first time Issaquah School District had been involved in the state-wide data collection effort.
State and local results were released in February 2005 and served as a basis for community response until the next survey in Fall 2006.
DATA CHARTS contain graphs comparing district and individual middle and high school student responses to responses from students in schools across the state of Washington:
NOTE Beaver Lake data charts are not available as students did not receive test booklets.
RAW DATA includes responses for all questions and indicates the margin of error or confidence level for each response.
NOTE There was not enough participation among District 8th graders to be considered valid enough for a raw data report for the District. 60% participation is considered enough to validate the data. Because Beaver Lake Middle School did not receive its survey booklets, students there were unable to complete the survey, which resulted in fewer than 60% of District 8th graders participating in the 2004 Healthy Youth Survey.
