About our school

Dr. Tod Wood was announced as Clark's new principal in a June 12, 2012 eNews to the Clark community.

Clark Elementary School has a very warm and friendly small school atmosphere. Staff and students gather twice a month for an assembly to sing together, share upcoming school events, celebrate student accomplishments, enjoy student presentations, and to teach and practice the Six Pillars of Character: Respect, responsibility, caring, citizenship, trustworthiness, and fairness.

Clark staff form strong partnerships with parents and the community. Volunteers provide one-on-one reading support to students. Issaquah High School students assist teachers, teach lessons, and mentor students as part of their high school course work or community service. Parents are actively involved in the life of the school as they volunteer countless hours to support student learning.

Clark dismisses classes early every Wednesday for two hours of staff collaboration.
