    • For our students:
      • We all want what is best for our students
      • We can represent perspectives of groups not present (colleagues, student groups, Special Ed, Highly Capable, ELL, all levels, needs of all students, parents).  Take the time to find something that works for all students.
      • Consider curriculum that meets the needs of all teachers (new to veteran) and not be self-serving
    • Communication:
      • We will assume best intent in other members
      • Communicate regularly with other members of your colleagues/teams so you can represent that group of stakeholders.
      • Open to new ideas
      • People will speak from their perspective in a tactful way
      • Everyone will listen
      • We will ask for clarification to seek understanding
      • We compromise

  • Planned Meetings:
    • Thursday 10/6 – Charter, norms, review of content (NGSS), best practices (NGSS), familiarize with EQuIP rubric
    • Tuesday 11/8 – continue work done in October, review survey results, begin previewing materials
    • Wednesday 12/7 –continue previewing materials
    • Monday 2/27 – currently slated as both a common assessment scoring day (half day) and adoption meeting (half day) ideally this is the meeting for voting on which materials to field test
    • Tuesday 3/7 – plan field testing for Fall 2017
