Registration for Summer School 2021 opens March 1, 2021 at 9:00am

Our Summer School program, like in past years, includes opportunities for high school students to take new courses for the first time to earn credits for graduation or enrichment and provides opportunities students to retake for grade improvement and/or credit recovery.

There are 3 types of summer school programs.

  1. In person courses:  Students can take a course for the first time OR repeat a course for credit recovery or grade improvement. The model for in person will be determined in June due to the Covid pandemic (fully in person, hybrid or full remote). Students can take courses for the first time (example: PE or NW Studies), students can repeat a course they previously took and failed to make up the credit OR students can repeat a course they previous passed with a C-, D+ or D and work to improve the grade earned in their first attempt.
  2. ISD Online Health: Students can take ISD Health with ISD teachers and our health curriculum entirely online in Canvas.
  3. ISD Online Learning: Students are provided with an opportunity to take high school level courses online. The flexibility of our Online Learning program empowers students to take control of their learning in an asynchronous (self-directed) environment. Students can take an online course for a variety of reasons: acceleration, accrual, credit deficient, credit recovery**, enrichment, grade improvement and preferred learning style. **Credit recovery is only available to students if the course is not offered in person.

For details regarding the dates of these programs, registration links/deadlines, and other key details, please see our comprehensive summer school information webpage
