Important Course Request Information for the 2021-2022 School Year

It is time for students and families to choose their courses for next year at our beautiful new school! The MS#6 course request process is open from Wed. 3/17 and ends on Sun. 3/28th. We have a wide array of course offerings similar to our other ISD middle schools. There are great resources on this website to help you make the best choices for the 2021-2022 school year!

The information below is intended for students currently enrolled in our district. If your student is joining or re-entering the Issaquah School District for the 2021-22 school year, please contact Lani Drake at drakel@issaquah.wednet.edu to assist you and your family.

A special note from Principal McKee: I would like to strongly encourage all students to consider trying new things next year. Maybe that means you are an incoming 6th graders and you sign up to be in our band even though you never picked up an instrument before (that’s OK & very common!). Maybe you are a 7th grader who is interested in our new elective called Medical Detectives? Or maybe an incoming 8th grader wants to learn Spanish! Middle School is the PERFECT time to try something new!

     Helpful Resources:

Didn’t have a chance to join our Q & A Event for Parents of Incoming 6th Graders on March 23, 2021? That’s ok. Click here for the recording of this Q & A Event!

Questions? Since MS#6 has not yet hired a counseling department, it is important that students and parents read through the material on this site and the resources emailed to them on 3/17th. Additionally, families can connect with students’ current teachers and counselors on guidance regarding course requests and placement.

Technical Help? If you have trouble or questions with technical aspects of the form, please contact Lani Drake at drakel@issaquah.wednet.edu.
