Academics

Liberty High School offers academic options for all students to grow throughout their high school experience. Students have the opportunity to take 8 classes each semester with a rotating A day (periods 1-4) and B day (periods 5-8) schedule. Classes are 90 minutes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 70 minutes on Wednesdays.

Students at all grade levels can choose to take Advanced Placement classes (such as Biology, World History, Calculus, Japanese, and Art). Some students decide to earn college credits through our College in the High School classes (such as Spanish and Calculus). Students who feel they need more help with coursework can take academic support classes, including Algebra Lab and Improving Literacy Skills. Students have access to a wide variety of electives, including Band, Orchestra, Choir, Drama, NJROTC, Leadership, Yearbook, Teaching Academy, Model United Nations, Fashion Design, DECA, Material Science, Graphic Design, and Culinary Arts.
