PSAT/NMSQT for 10th and 11th Graders
On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, we will administer the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) for 10th and 11th grade students. During this day, we will have other activities organized for our 9th and 12th graders. When testing finishes, students will have lunch and attend shortened classes (we have two B-days in a row to account for this). Schedules and reminders will be sent out in the weeks leading up to our PSAT day.
Please note that attendance is taken just like any other school day, so be sure to call the attendance office if an absence occurs.
Running Start students may choose to join us for the PSAT. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can be sure to assign you a testing location and order an exam for you.
View the 2019 PSAT Student Guide online here. Paper copies were passed out during textbook distribution and will continue to be available in the main office.
Why take the PSAT/NMSQT?
What does it cost to take the PSAT/NMSQT?
- The PSAT test fee is $17 and will be added to the accounts of all 10th and 11th graders. If a student/family chooses not to participate, the fee will be removed.
- To pay for the PSAT, use the online payment system or bring payment directly to our ASB Bookkeeper, Ann Fullington.
- We want this opportunity to be accessible to all students and financial assistance is available for qualifying families. Please see the Financial Assistance page for more information.
