Lexia support learning of Reading Foundational Skills - the basic building blocks of reading. Lexia is an adaptive learning tool, meaning that it adjusts to student needs based on their responses. It is important that student work on Lexia is independent, so families should help students navigate Lexia, but not help them with the work within Lexia. iReady Math |
iReady Math is being used to reinforce learning, provide math enrichment, and help build up students who have and core number sense skill gaps. iReady is another adaptive learning tool, that adjusts to student responses. It will launch with a diagnostic assessment and then build a personalized learning plan for each student. It is important that student do their iReady work INDEPENDENTLY, so families can help students navigate iReady, but should encourage them to do their best independent work for the iReady activities - even the games, which may have more than fun in mind.
