Join us in celebrating the Issaquah School District’s newly renewed National Board Certified teachers! Twenty-five ISD educators have renewed their National Board Certifications this year. The National Board Certificate is an advanced credential that shows educators are among the best in the country by demonstrating advanced knowledge and skill in their subject area, as well as a deep understanding of students. The certificate is renewed through a portfolio showing continued mastery of their subject by meeting the five core propositions, which outline the abilities and knowledge teachers should have. Currently, the ISD has more than 175 National Board Certified Teachers and Administrators on staff.
The Issaquah School District congratulates each of these educators for their continued commitment to the teaching profession and hard work on behalf of the students they serve. Learn about each of Issaquah’s National Board Certified Teachers on ISD’s National Board Certified Teacher page.
