Elementary Assessment and Progress Reporting For Trimester 2

Posted on March 10, 2021

Trimester 2 Elementary report cards will be available via Family access after 4:00pm on March 17. While that date has not changed, the transition to hybrid learning has required some slight changes in progress reporting and grading of K-3 students. The following will provide families of K-3 students with information regarding Trimester 2 report cards.

For students in grades K-3, Trimester 2 grades will be determined and reported by their Tri 1 teacher.

  • For K-1 Students—Trimester 1 teachers will include assessments, assignments, observations, etc. of students through January 29 in determining students’ academic performance levels.
    • For those students who remained with the Tri 1 teacher following the transition, the January 29 grading cut off also applies.
    • Families will not notice much change in the report card itself other than the addition of the teacher’s name who will be reporting the Tri 3 grade.
  • For Students in Grades 2-3—Trimester 1 teachers will include assessments, assignments, observations, etc. of students through February 26 in determining students’ academic performance levels.
    • For those students who remained with the Tri 1 teacher following the transition, the February 26 grading cut off also applies.
    • Families will not notice much change in the report card itself other than the addition of the teacher’s name who will be reporting the Tri 3 grade.
