Challenger Students Add New Titles to their Home Libraries

Posted by User Not Found on 29 March, 2016

Challenger Elementary School students recently restocked their home libraries at their school PTSA Book Swap night. The Dr. Seuss themed event encouraged students to bring books from home that they no longer read to swap for new titles brought by their fellow classmates. Along with the book swap, students could buy new books and enjoyed Dr. Seuss inspired treats at the bake sale. The book swap night kicked off the school’s Eager Reader program which encourages students to read at home and families to read together.

“The book swap was a great success!” shared PTSA book swap event chair Heather Matthews. “The best part of the night was having families with small children come and be a part of our school community.”
