Posted by User Not Found on 25 February, 2016

Fourth and fifth grade student council members from Cougar Ridge Elementary School recently visited Swedish Hospital in Issaquah to donate books collected during their fall humanitarian project. New books were collected during the fall school-wide book drive and donated to the pediatric area of the Swedish Issaquah campus hospital. During their visit, students met with Dr. Rayburn Lewis, Swedish Hospital Chief Executive and Swedish hospital staff Martin Clinton and Jody Turner. Student council advisors Samantha Donohoe, 4th grade teacher and Megan Hand, 5th grade teacher accompanied students on their trip and helped them plan and run their book drive in the fall.
