Creekside Students Make Scientific Inquiries

Posted by User Not Found on 20 April, 2015

One hundred and fifty Creekside Elementary School fifth graders were immersed in science during their recent science fair. Throughout the school day, fifth grade students gave presentations about their diverse science projects. Each project was judged by teachers based on a rubric covering scientific method, inquiry, and the overall ability of each student to discuss their project. During the day, students from all other grade levels were invited to review and watch student presentations. After a day filled with science, Creekside opened its doors for their interactive Family Science Fair Night that evening. Kelly Samueloff, fifth grade teacher shared, “Many parents came to see the exhibits along with the students. During the Science Fair, judges awarded student projects with science ribbons. It was truly a great event and allowed younger students to see the quality of work that is expected by the time they reach fifth grade.”
