Posted by Jake G. on 17 January, 2014
The Issaquah School Board received a special recognition from some of their youngest constituents at a recent meeting. Students from Creekside Elementary spoke in turn, sharing how they are accomplishing the board’s Student Learning Goals at their school. After expressing their appreciation for the work of the school board, the students came forward to shake hands with each board member. January is School Board Recognition Month in Washington. Superintendent, Ron Thiele, read Governor Inslee’s proclamation, voiced his thanks for the countless hours the board members volunteer on behalf of students and the district.
