Displaying “CARE” with Sign Language at Issaquah High School

The American Sign Language Honor Society (ASLHS) partnered with the Consciousness And Racial Empowerment (CARE) Club to learn how to sign the CARE Club’s mission statement: “To be openminded about cultural diversity and empowering racial equality throughout our community.” Club advisors, Paige Friedli (ASLHS) and Heidi Hutch (CARE) were thrilled to see the work that the students have done to connect this community through cross collaboration in an effort to create an inclusive culture throughout Issaquah High School. Great work CARE Club and ASLHS!
