Posted by Elizabeth Egan on 1 June, 2017
Sammamish Mayor Don Gerend and City of Sammamish officials joined Issaquah School District School Board Directors and Administrators to celebrate the commencement of work to rebuild Pine Lake Middle School. Originally built in 1974, Pine Lake Middle School will be completely reconstructed on site, providing a new learning environment with updated technology and energy efficient operations. The project, approved by voters as a part of the 2016 school bond, is estimated to cost $71M. The new school is scheduled to open in September 2018.
