Skyline Cheer Squads Place in Top 3 at State Tournament

Skyline Cheer Squads Place in Top 3 at State Tournament

Posted by Elizabeth Egan on 9 February, 2017
On January 28 Skyline High School Cheer participated in the WIAA State Cheerleading Championship. Skyline is the only program to qualify and compete three teams! Of the 80 teams competing this school year only 50 made it to State. Additionally, all three of the Skyline teams placed Top 3 and earned a place on the podium with a State Trophy, which has never happened in Skyline’s history. Skyline Green brought home the Program’s 9th State Title with a State Championship win in Medium Tumbling Varsity, Skyline Silver placed 2nd in Small Tumbling Varsity, and Skyline White placed 2nd in Small Non Tumbling Varsity.

Congratulations to Skyline Cheer on an incredible state tournament! Best of luck to the team as they head off to the National High School Cheerleading Championship this week in Orlando, Florida.
