Skyline DECA Wins Two World Championships

Posted by Elizabeth Egan on 17 May, 2018

This year, Skyline High DECA had spectacular success at the DECA World Championships, with 3 students winning the World Championships, 9 students placing in the top ten, and 6 students placing in the top twenty. World champions were Amid Kazemini, Josh Wolters, and Nishi Kaza.

Notably, Nishi Kaza was a repeat champion - an accomplishment never before achieved in the 19 year storied history of Skyline DECA. Nishi will be attending the University of California at Berkeley’s Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology Program to study both Business and Computer Science.

Overall, there were 18,000 DECA students competing in Atlanta (out of 215,000 students worldwide, including the US, Canada, Mexico, China, and many other countries).
