The club will meet on Fridays after school from 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM. The first session will be announced once teams, forms and parent volunteers are organized.
There is no bus after this club activity, so parents will need to arrange transportation for students.
The club will have a fee of $25 and the season will last through the First Lego League competition season, roughly thru mid-December.
Students must be able to commit to attending the club meetings.
The nature of Robotics Club requires a high level of parent involvement. Each of the 4 teams requires a volunteer parent coordinator.
There will be 32 spots (4 teams of 8 students) open for students interested in participating. Should more than 32 students turn in applications, PLMS administrators will conduct a lottery to fill the spots. The teams will be posted in the Pine Lake main office window by Tuesday 10/15.
